#Submitting a Copyright Infringement Notice
If you believe that copyrighted material hosted or served through Tessryx infringes your copyright, send a written notice to dmca@tessryx.com.
To substantially comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
-
A physical or electronic signature of the owner of the copyright or exclusive right that is allegedly infringed, or of a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
-
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works.
-
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, together with information reasonably sufficient to allow Tessryx to locate the material. A complete URL or other specific location is the most useful way to identify it.
-
Information reasonably sufficient to allow Tessryx to contact you, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
-
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or the law.
-
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
A notice that does not substantially comply with these requirements may not be effective under the DMCA. Tessryx may request additional information necessary to evaluate or process an incomplete notice.
Tessryx will act expeditiously on notices that substantially comply with the DMCA and will take reasonable steps to notify the affected customer or account holder. Our full procedures for responding to infringement notices, submitting counter-notices, restoring material, and addressing repeat infringers are set out in our DMCA Policy.
#Content Hosted for Tessryx Customers
Tessryx provides hosting and infrastructure used by customers to publish and serve content. Customer content may appear through subdomains of tessryx.app, tessryxusermedia.com, and tessryxuserdata.com, as well as through custom domains routed to Tessryx infrastructure.
Copyright infringement notices concerning content hosted or served through any of these locations may be submitted directly to Tessryx's designated agent.
If the material appears on a customer's custom domain, the operator of that site may also be able to address the material directly. You may contact the site operator if you wish, but doing so is not required before submitting a DMCA notice to Tessryx.
#Misrepresentations
Before submitting a copyright infringement notice, please consider whether the disputed use is authorized by the copyright owner or permitted by law, including under the doctrine of fair use.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for resulting damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
