User Terms
Effective date pending publicationVersion 1.0
These terms apply if you have a Tessryx account but don't operate a workspace of your own — for example, if you created an account to sign in to a website someone else built on Tessryx, or you were invited to join someone else's workspace.
If you operate a workspace, the Customer Terms apply to you instead.
Tessryx LLC is a California limited liability company at 8605 Santa Monica Blvd #347695, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
#1. What Tessryx is, and what it isn't
Tessryx is a platform our customers use to build websites and automations. When you sign in to one of those websites with your Tessryx account, you are using a site operated by that customer, not by us.
We don't write, review, or control what's on those sites. We don't endorse them. If something on a site is wrong, harmful, or upsetting, the operator of that site is responsible for it.
#2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to have a Tessryx account.
Keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us at security@tessryx.com if you think someone else has access to your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address current — it's how we reach you.
#3. Signing in to other people's sites
When you sign in to a customer's site, we ask you first, on our own domain, and we name the site. The site receives an identifier for you and nothing else — not your email address, not your name, nothing from any workspace you belong to.
If you're a member of the workspace that operates the site, pages restricted to members also receive your email address and your role there. That's information the workspace already has.
Each site is separate. Approving one never covers another. You can withdraw any approval at any time from Connected apps in your account settings — which also signs you out of that site.
Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
#4. What you post on other people's sites
If you write a comment, fill in a form, or otherwise submit something to a site built on Tessryx, that goes to the operator of that site. They decide what to do with it, how long to keep it, and whether to publish it. Their terms and their privacy notice apply.
We store it because we host their site, but we don't control it. To have something removed, ask them. If you can't reach them, you can contact us at support@tessryx.com and we'll do what we reasonably can, but we may not be able to remove content on a customer's behalf.
#5. Rules
Don't use your Tessryx account to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- post content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate anyone;
- post sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or endangers a child;
- distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, site, or system;
- probe or attack the security of Tessryx or any site built on it; or
- create accounts automatically, or create accounts to evade a suspension.
Our Acceptable Use Policy covers this in full and applies to you.
#6. Suspension and closing your account
You can close your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if we reasonably believe your use is unlawful or creates a risk to other people. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
Closing your account signs you out of every site and revokes every approval you've given. Content you submitted to a customer's site stays with that customer — we can't delete it from their records, and you should ask them directly.
#7. Reporting problems
- A site built on Tessryx doing something abusive: abuse@tessryx.com
- Copyright infringement: dmca@tessryx.com (see our DMCA Policy)
- A security problem with Tessryx itself: security@tessryx.com
- Your own account or privacy: privacy@tessryx.com
Sites, pages, and workflows built by our customers are outside the scope of our security programme. Report those to the operator of the site.
#8. No warranties
Tessryx is provided "as is." We don't promise it will always work, always be available, or be free of errors, and we make no promises at all about the sites our customers build.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law in your country that can't be waived.
#9. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for anything arising from a site built by one of our customers.
Our total liability to you will not exceed one hundred US dollars, or the amount you have paid us, whichever is greater.
#10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use your account after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by California law, and disputes belong in the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County, California — except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
